The Courageous Living Foundation

Mission Statement

The Courageous Living Foundation provides, intellectual, financial and emotional support for individuals and organizations helping themselves or others to courageously breakthrough life’s barriers and move into a new reality of having a better life.

Every time you purchase a ticket to a Courageous Living event, a portion of it goes to sponsor a women in transition to change her life. We are a supportive partner with the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness (CCAA), www.abusehurts.com.

The Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness (CCAA) is a national, charitable organization that has served Canadians since 1993.The Centre’s mandate is to significantly reduce the incidence and impact of abuse through education and public awareness. CCAA operates solely on private donations with no sustaining funds from any government body.Your attendance and contribution brings them into the workshops, re-integrates them into a positive community and courageously supports them to live more secure and fulfilling lives. The CCAA continues to raise awareness about the true cost of neglect and abuse and has supported over 130 organizations nationally, including children’s services, victims services, shelters and other agencies that deal with over 200,000 children, women and men whose lives have been affected by abuse.

We are proud to have donated over $50,000 in sponsored tickets to invite the courageous women from the Red Door Women’s shelters and the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness to help inform and empower them to take steps towards a better future.

Thank you for your participation. Each time you give to yourself, you enable us to give to another grateful woman on her journey.

To Tanya and Joanna, This event was very inspiring and it was great to share the day with women who seek to improve their self esteem, health, financial status and their professionalism. Thank you for inviting the women at Red Door Family Shelter.

To Joanna and Tanya, I enjoyed the day so much! At first I wasn’t sure if I would last 13 hours but the speakers were very interesting and I learned a lot. I know that I will be making many changes to the way I approach things and make better decisions in the future. Thank you very much for this experience.

Thanks, D.

Thank you for the wise words, it is my hope that they will be useful tools for my future. I realized that as women, regardless of cultures or backgrounds, we have the same fears and hopes. It takes courage to share with us like you did.
Thank you, T.
